This is a pic of a friend of mine who passed away a couple of years ago. His name was Carlos Hidalgo, or known as Charlie to his friends. Charlie and I were almost at opposite philosophical extremes. Nevertheless, I liked Charlie very much. I knew him in high school and college, but we did not really get to know each other very well until we hooked up on FB several years ago. You will have to take my word on it, but if you knew him, you would agree with me that Charlie was a good man with a big heart. We were supposed to go on a canoe fishing trip together the summer before he passed away, but it fell through. I wonder sometimes if we did fish together what conversations we would have. Im sure it would be interesting and passionate.
