This is a repeat post to remind everyone that the polar plunge is cancelled this year for a couple of reasons. One being the fact that there is still ice in the water by the boat landing on Steamboat Ave in Searsport. We wouldnt want to deal with the increased risk of hypothermia. Usually, the weather is a little more mild than it has been this year. The second reason being that we did not have enough participation (and who can blame anyone for not wishing to brave the icy waters this year?). However, our other events ARE still on: The BAHS vs SDHS Alumni Basketball Game and the Full Breakfast buffet put on by the Searsport Lions Club. Please join us and support two local people who need help to manage their medical expenses!
