Condominium prices are still affordable on the eastside, without the same level of competition as the single-family bidding wars... and a new conventional loan program is starting to allow buyers to own for as low as 3.5% down. This is game changing for many of my buyers who cant afford or dont want the maintenance of a single family home. Ever since the financial crisis, it has been almost impossible to get FHA financing on a condo. Now, with the new conventional loan programs with low down payment coming available, more renters can move into home ownership.
