This is actually interesting, and mentions something I was thinking last night during the interviews from both sides. (Setting aside questions of whether our society is democratic) Democracy isnt really democracy if people are lied to, are given propaganda, and are not given accurate and impartial information on which to base their votes (and I include both sides). Anything else is just a mockery of the idea of democratic voting. As Brand says close to this thought, what is a vote worth when it is based on scare tactics and false information, really? The one thing I do find ironic about this video though is how Brand is talking about how bad poverty is, complaining about snooty, rich Cameron, etc, while he is being chauffeured around London in the back of an expensive car with a laptop and wifi and his own personal film crew.
