This is an interview we conducted with Aneeqah Ferguson in 2008 about being born and raised as a Muslim in America. She comes from a great family of maybe 14 brothers and sisters. MashaAllah! Her father is an admired imam and her sister Umm Zakiyyah , who now lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a renown author of popular muslim-themed novels. Often, in interviews...we need to do retakes or re-ask questions if the person doesnt answer clearly, completely, confidently, etc. With her, we only had to do one take. That is rare. Love her clarity.
