This is an open note, if the shoe fits... Shame on you for trying to make me feel like less than the Chef that I know I am. Shame on you for trying to entice me to choose you over my children. Shame on you for making me believe that my staff didnt like me. Shame on you for trying to intimidate me and my peers with your ugliness. Shame on you for stealing my happiness. Shame on you for trying to shut me up. Shame on you for thinking you are better than us. Guess what? I am great at what I do, my staff is amazing and I will always stand up for them. Guess what? I am human, I screw up, admit it and I better myself. Remember when you asked me what others thought and said about you? I lied. They all had something to say, dont you wish that I had told you what they said when you asked? I can sleep at night because I treat people right. I am humble, I love cooks, I love the whole staff, I treat them like human beings, I am a good human being. We all have our bad days, and then, we move on. No one could believe that I left home to work for you. I defended you and you turned your back on me. Unlike you, I swear to mentor, to retrain and give my staff a chance. I was trained to never leave anyone behind. I never gave up. I kept going, I sacrificed so much. What did I get? My last check. You gave up on me at the drop of a dime. My kids deserve better, I deserve better...wherever this new journey takes me, it will be abundant because I have been through hell. Im ready for the next phase, Im stronger and smarter, and I have people that really believe in me. So, to the person that screen shot one of my posts and got me in hot water with him? You should screen shot this and give it to him as well. People should be more empathetic than quick to judge. You dont know whats happening behind my smile. Just saying. And maybe, you should delete yourself from here as well, or at the very least apologize.
