This is da Mama.......this morning I was in my bedroom, trying to clean up, and heard Nubbie whimpering. I have never heard him do that so I flew in the living room and he was lying in his usual spot. I checked him over, took him outside for a few minutes and everything seemed fine. So in we go, I give him a treat, and he is just regular sweet Nubbie. After a few minutes of hovering over him, I go back in my room. I hear him again...seemed louder.....and I just panic. Something is wrong with my Nubbie! I run back in the living room, we go through the same drill and he acts perfectly normal. After two more times, I was ready to call Dr. Blanton.......when all of a sudden it hit me, that the only time he was whimpering was when I was not in the room with him! So, I quit cleaning my room (I didnt mind that at all), went in and stayed in the living room/kitchen area for a couple of hours.....laid down on the couch, took a nap, and then decided to see if my experiment worked. I went back in my room and in about 5 minutes, I heard that pitiful whimpering sound. Aha! Not only has he learned that if he whimpers, he gets my undivided attention, he also gets a treat! I LOVE THAT BOY!!!!!!!!
