This is dedicated to the man who has been my best friend for 45 years. Philip Lucky VonRiesen is slowly but surely losing his long battle with cancer. He will, in a very short time, leave us to be with his maker, his parents, and his sister. I spent the day with him yesterday. His suffering is immeasurable, though he wont tell you so. You can see it in his eyes, hear it in his voice, and feel it in your heart. 43 years ago, he introduced me to my bride of now 41 years. I think she finally forgave him. He has 3 beautiful daughters, Krista, Tina, and Amber (who has been his caretaker for many weeks now). Several grandchildren also love him very much. Our memories are many, our regrets are few, and I will miss you terribly, my friend. Imagine teardrops all over this tablet screen.
