This is exactly what superconsciousness does. A new form of perception comes into existence. The world loses its solidity. It loses its dominating character, sometimes it loses even its existence and you see, while you are aware of the world, of the slope, of the leaves, of the faces before you, you are also aware of the fact that they are all swimming in a conscious ocean of light like shadows on the wall, that the reality, the connecting substance between all of them is a consciousness -- elusive, indescribable, ineffable, totally beyond our imagination, but it is there. And as I said yesterday, at every point as full of knowledge as if the whole of the Encyclopedia Britannica were contained in it. We judge Cosmic consciousness from our own limited consciousness. our consciousness is an extremely diluted beam of a sun billions of miles away, a sun which we can never imagine. Of that, we are an extremely diluted beam, like a speck, floating in a beam of sunlight, but we are one with that. With the dawn of cosmic consciousness, we can experience that, that this sun is shining everywhere, that it is this sun which is in your mind. Even thought reading cannot be possible without a concept of this kind. Clairvoyance cannot be possible. There must be a homogeneous medium between two brains, between two minds, and that is supplied by Cosmic Mind. It is as great a reality as the physical universe, but it would need an opening of the Third Eye or a new channel of perception to perceive it. Nishat Discourses, 1977.
