This is from our member, Lindsay McKirgan Today and all week my son Michael McKirgan is walking 110 miles along the Cotswolds way with his Buddy Darren Andrews. Michael and Darren are also roughing it camping out too. Michael James Mckirgan wanted to raise money for CMT. I have CMT and as its hereditary I have passed it onto Christopher McKirgan - Mikes brother. For all you who know me, I have problems and I will get worse- not a pleasant prospect. The only thing that can help me, my children and all that suffer with CMT is research. Research into the genes, and different ways of preventing it. i have a disease that will over the next few years will place me in a wheelchair but with Research all CMT sufferers grandchildren and Great Grandchildren will be prevented from ever knowing what Charcot-Marie-Tooth could have done to them. Mike is lacking Sponsors hes only got £70 so far, please donate through Justgiving https://justgiving/MikeandDazsCotwoldsChallenge/ Thanks, Lindsay McKirgan
