This is getting so tiresome. Even though there are three different versions of the alleged Ten Commandments (which by the way the edition were going by ... is the unrevised one which contains not seething a baby goat in its mothers milk Exodus 23:19) the point still stands that any ensign of religious declaration is a gross infringement on our basic constitutional principals. A tax funded public school within itss general function should stay completely neutral regarding religion. If christians are going to insist on the Ten Commandments being a part of the institutional motif of our schools then you damn well better be prepared to allow portions of the Quran, Bhagavad Gita or even quotes by Anton LeVay to be plastered on the walls of our educational institutions! I admire this young mans enthusiasm and conviction and I would defend his right by standing shoulder to shoulder with him to protect his constitutional entitlement to individually and privately believe as he wants. But for the sake of quality education and the sanctity of secular function within our society there has to be the separation of church and state ... Period!
