This is going to be my final post on Facebook. First of all, I would like to thank all of the supporters for me and Melinda during our recent struggle. You know who you are, and we appreciate the support and I couldnt ask for better friends. Just know that I will forever have your six and will always be there for you too! Melinda and I are working things out and are excited about adding another 27 years or more to our marriage! Marriages will encounter several obstacles over time. The strength of a marriage is determined by how well the couple can work together to overcome those obstacles. After 27 years of marriage, we know how to work together during difficult times. I know I created this mess and I feel absolutely awful for what I put Melinda and my family through. However, I certainly dont need to hear it from a bunch of idiots either. Which brings me to my second point. To those of you (you and a bunch of other people know who you are too) who felt I was an asshole and decided to express those feelings, youre welcome. It was an honor to serve and protect your First Amendment Right so you could freely express your comments. Now its my turn. Knowing what I do now, I thank God that I didnt have to rely on you having my six during wartime. I probably would have shot you on the spot. At least my chances of survival would have been better that way. Dont ever underestimate me and believe that Im going to take being ridiculed, belittled, or slammed lightly. Youd be in for a rude awakening. To those who remained quiet during our ordeal, that was probably best. If you dont know the whole story and/or dont know how to respond, its always best to remain quiet and always hope for the best.
