This is gonna stir controversy, but I cant help but think that there is a double-edged sword to banning Julien Blanc from entering the UK. Now, Im not saying that his philosophy or approach to women or PUA is acceptable because I dont think it is AT ALL, BUT... Before, he had a really limited audience in the UK. Limited a few thousand people. At £2000 per ticket, only a small % of them would have been able to afford to attend his seminar and learn the secrets. Now, hes a borderline household name being discussed tens of thousands of times per day on social media, in every newspaper and on every News programme. Suddenly hes been exposed to MILLIONS of British guys who didnt know who he was before and probably wouldnt have ever come across him. Lets face it... whilst we have banned him from coming into the UK and doing his seminars, we CANNOT possibly stop guys from Googling his name, finding his online courses and buying them - especially as they are MUCH cheaper. What HAS happened is that we have turned the guy into a celebrity almost overnight and added HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of hits to the RSD websites. Now, millions of guys who couldnt have afforded to attend his seminar at £2k per head probably CAN afford to buy his online training products and learn the stuff anyway. Most irritatingly, hes now making a TON more money in online product sales than he would have done if he ran the seminar AND hasnt had to lift a finger to do it. So.... Whilst we HAVE stopped him entering the UK and running his seminars here. We have made him a celebrity. Whether what he teaches is right or wrong (and I think wed mostly agree its wrong) he will now be teaching a LOT more UK guys than he would have done if we had let him in. Theres absolutely NO doubt about that. The sad truth is that if people want to learn something badly enough, they will. Especially when you can pay a couple of hundred bucks, download a video and watch it from home.
