This is interesting because all of this video shows Sea Shepherd action against the Japanese whaling boat labeled for research. In reality this is a Sea Shepherd victory. Greenpeace does not do on the spot action against whaling in Antarctic, rather they are more of a lobby and legal action group. The founder of Greenpeace left Greenpeace and founded Sea Shepherd. The Japanese finally agreed last March that their barbaric whaling for research was not for research but for human consumption. They were whaling mainly for Minke whales and sadly strangely the Minke whales are not included in this verdict. The Japanese claims they will not return to Antarctic this summer (Antarctic summer Dec) but Sea Shepherd will be there to be sure the Japanese stick to their words. The Japanese have in the past lied about their agreements to stop whaling. Personally I dont approve of violence to stop anothers actions. Sea Shepherd claims they dont do violence as they dont harm humans, but they do destroy property which is a violent act. Its a fine line but unfortunately Sea Shepherd tactics were the only thing that finally brought this horrendous slaughter to light across the international community.
