This is just complete insanity. Its one thing to make a mistake, its one thing to drop a ball or just make a brutal play. Stuff like that happens, and thats life. But this is the most selfish and despicable thing I have ever seen anyone do on a football field. Just watch what Bostick does throughout this entire play (lined up for the packers at the top of the screen second player from the top). Keep your eyes only on Bostick. From the second the ball is kicked, he has his eyes on the ball the whole way, backing up off of the 45 yard line attempting to make a play on the ball. Now watch the video again, and look at the other 3 players at the top of the screen on the line for the packers when the ball is kicked. They all do exactly what theyre supposed to do. They never look at the football, they run straight ahead and block the opposing players trying to get to the 45 yard line so that Jordy (lined up top left behind the 50 yard line) can easily go up and grab the ball for us. This isnt a mistake, this isnt just a guy making a bad play or dropping the ball. That you would just have to live with. This is a calculated and selfish decision by Bostick to just completely disregard his assignment and do something he is not supposed to do. And what happens? He doesnt block, he gets in Jordys way, drops the ball, and we lose the game. This despicable and extremely selfish action by Bostick costs everyone else who busted their asses off all year a trip to the Superbowl. Bostick deserves to be unemployed for the rest of his life.
