This is more crucial than you might imagine. Most of the homeless today in the US are casualties of Reagans aggressive attitude toward mental health, the resulting economic policies allowing for our current plunge into outlawing poverty and homelessness, without helping those victimized by it. The irony is not lost on me that he died probably not even knowing his own name. I know Alzheimers is not a mental condition, but it affects a persons mental health, so it couldnt have happened to a more deserving fella. Karma at its best.
