This is more or less of an idea from me. Should this idea be turned into a non-profit fan game depends on who finds it. This is pretty much a mixture between Super Mario Bros and Mega Man. It shall be called: Mega Mario Bros. The story will conflict with some of the canon that takes place in the Mario multiverse. So, say that Princess Peach didnt start out as an actual princess, but the daughter of a famous scientist who runs a corporation that manufactures and publishes robots and other brilliant machinery. This corporation was called: Mushroom Customs; a business that constructs machine with an incredible A.I. that can carry out jobs that humans can and/or cannot do by themselves. After her father retired, Peach was old enough to take over the family business with the help of her fathers old assistant T-Worth 02. For hear on then, she became Doctor Peach Toadstool. Somewhere throughout the year, a rival corporation called the Koopa Korp; a business that creates machines used for military purposes, issued a sort of cooperation alliance so that the CEO by the name of Doctor Bowser Koopa can get a hold of this advance A.I. (Along with Peachs love, of course.) However, Doctor Toadstool declined the alliance and refused to cooperate with Koopa Korp for various of reasons. Doctor Bowser accepted her decision and went quiet, just so that he can strike when the moment was right. To expand the business with a brand new line of robots, Peach created two robots with a very special A.I. that gives them an actual mind to make important decisions or choices. These two robots are brothers. Due to Peach having to create these said brothers to look like Italian civilians, she named both of them Mario and Luigi. Even though both of these robots are created for plumbing duty, the two show personality traits that resemble that of actual human beings. This remarkable A.I. Is a first of a glorious revolution. This revolution, however, ended up too quickly due to the younger robotic brother Luigi had an unstable A.I. The A.I. itself made Luigi refuse to undergo the similar duties that both him and Mario had to undergo. Peach didnt want to have a defected A.I. being mass produced in the next generation of robots, so she issued a day to reconstruct Luigi and possibly fix his Artificial Intelligence. Seeing that his independence was in danger, Luigi escaped from Mushroom Customs and went M.I.A. Marios working progress became sluggish as ever due to Luigis disappearance, which made the female mechanic a bit worried that Mario might become self-aware as well. Though, that wasnt the case; Its just that the older plumber wished to work alongside his younger brother. More than just that, Mario longed to see him alive and well. This sort of emotion that the robotic plumber was expressing cause Peach to go on a wide-scale robot search party for Luigi. As soon as Doctor Toadstool went out of her way to commence a search party, 8 mysterious robotic beings began to terrorize the faithful city that harbored Mushroom Customs. Peach looked into her databases to see if any of her machinery has malfunctioned, but neither of the 8 robots were designed/created by her. She wasnt sure on who they are. News reporters tried to get coverage on what these robotic terrorists were, but they were attacked before they had a chance to scope them out. Though, it was clear on where these robots were heading towards: Mushroom Customs. Peach didnt know what to do, her company, her ideas, and her workers are in danger. She cant rely on the authorities, even they are overwhelmed by the rouge robots enormous power. Mario; with a strong sense of justice, asked Peach if she can reconstruct him as a fighting robot instead. Doctor Toadstool claimed that she is unexperienced on how to make a military based robot, but she decided to reconstruct Mario the best she can. After getting help from T-Worth 02 and other scientist working for her, Doctor Toadstool had finally reconstructed Mario into Mega Mario: The Spectacular Fighting Robot who Fights for Tomorrow! Its a pretty dull story-line, but it could lead into an interesting fan game.
