This is my gorgeous girl Kaja from Roaneden in Ontario! Question: How does one tell if their dog is intelligent? Everyone says their tollers are very smart, but everything Kaja does says otherwise for her... She was hard to train in puppy obedience, even with constant practice and lots of exercise. She has failed every dog intelligence test that Ive done. In addition, she also refuses to go in water past her paws, even though weve been taking her to the river and lakes since I got her at 8 weeks and she has never had a negative experience. Ive never forced her in. Weve recently started agility and again, she just doesnt pick up on anything like the other dogs in the class. Its like she doesnt make the connection. Has anyone else experienced a toller like this? Any advice? (Shes darn cute though!)
