This is my last picture with my two boys. Doogie Schnauzer left this world peacefully and without pain. My incredible wife Vanessa, was the best doggie mommy in making Doogie bacon and eggs for breakfast. He loved the warmth of the sun, so we fed him breakfast outside. Ive never euthanized a pet. I feared for the worse. Both Vanessa and I had knots in our stomach. Vanessas mom said to ask the vet if this was the right chose. When the vet came in, I was choking back tears and Vanessa asked the question for me. The vet confirmed it was his time. Doogie never left my sight for one second at the vet. He laid in my lap as the sedative was administered. In less than one minute, he passed feeling the soft petting and love from Vanessa and me. I am deeply grateful to everyone who gave me their love and personal support the past couple of days. It was one of the most difficult decisions Ive had to make.
