This is my opinion, not as a moderator, but as a WTF is up with you folks deleting comments and threads! If you want to start a provocative thread in here, own it. Do NOT delete posts from the thread, just because they displease you, or are even unpleasant, or even personally offputting, or whatever, thats just cowardly, and wrong. And also, dont take the cheesy ass way out of deleting an entire thread either. A lot of those provocative threads are what starts discussion (as well as ensuing hilarity and absurdity). Do NOT consider yourself powerful enough that you can squelch entire discussions, or render entire discussions meaningless when you remove a post that youve now had second thoughts about, just because you made your mess and no longer want to sit in it. And no matter how heated any comments to this or any other thread gets, have the guts to stand on the record, own your posts and comments, and be willing to stand corrected.
