This is not an article, just a reminder/update for those who’re unaware- IBPS has removed the ceilings about Graduation percentage, upper age and computer literacy for the PO/MT exam. On 22nd July 2013, IBPS changed the original notification and accordingly to the latest rules: Education (don’t need 60%) A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government (Earlier IBPS asked for 60% in graduation but it is no longer necessary. You can apply even if you have less than 60%) Computer literary (don’t need certificate) Computer literacy is no longer mandatory for applying in IBPS PO/MT. (Meaning you can apply even if you don’t have any computer certificate) Age (max is 30 and not 28) Minimum – 20 years Maximum – 30 years (i.e. candidate must have been not born earlier than 02.07.1983 and not later than 01.07.1993) + (Relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt.
