This is one of 3 puppies left in front of the Save the Animals-Armenia shelters gate. Nune of course took them in and took care of them. Even through the cold winter weather, when getting enough food for the 220 dogs and puppies was tough--but AKI came through!--these puppies were lucky to have the safety of the SAA shelter--certainly it was so much better than the cold, dark, mean streets of Yerevan. They stayed about 3 months at the shelter, and by end of February, all of them had been adopted! SAA is always full--thats just the nature of having a shelter in Yerevan, the only one. But when it comes to animals in desperate need, SAA doesnt turn its back.
