This is one of the issues I have with the way many people talk about Pittsburgh. We dont need to keep _saying_ that were world-class. We are. We dont need to show off our winning sports franchises as our only asset, nor drape everything in black and gold, nor constantly use bridges as a visual metaphor for the size of our city or its greatness. Yes, we can be proud, but lets be proud of who we are without constant comparisons like the silicon valley of the east, hipper than Portland, Paris of the Appalachias (really???), etc. Pittsburgh is awesome and it stands on its own. We have nothing to feel inferior about: lets just be ourselves, and always strive to improve where we need it, being the best Pittsburgh we can be.
