This is probably the longest post I will ever publish but please indulge me... I was watching a documentary on Winnie Mandela and her struggles helping south Africa gain equal rights to a land shared amongst different races and it made me sad to see as a human race we are not learning from our past...we are once again allowing crimes against humanity. I pray for the lives of the innocents caught in the crossfires in Isreal, Palestibe, Dafur, Syria and any other corner of the world were injustice its committed especially at the cost of human lives Ive done a lot of thinking about specifically what is happening in Gaza (recognizing injustice is being committed simultaneously in other part of the world) and in my humble opinion I think the only way there can be peace is with the following: i think 1) israel should apologize for wrongful creation…they had no right to take land from the indigenous people living there because it belong to their ancestors…thats like me going to india and demanding the land because 6 generations ago my family lived their…i have no rightful claim and neither did the isrealieals but it is too late to undo that mistake so...2) israel and palestine should have their own state as long as israel agrees to a national state not a jew-state and does commerce with non-jews to prove it…no state should exist for one religious/race of people... that is basically justifying the holocaust 3) as a pardon to the Palestinian and a social responsibility israel should help the palestinians rebuild their economy and homes....only then do I think both nations can move forward and prevent another generation of hate to be created.
