This is some interesting reading. Rev JC We constantly hear the left wing bleat about the former colonial powers having to pay repatriation for the abuses suffered by the locals during the colonial era and apologies must be made. Consider this . Prior to colonisation in Africa the black tribes lived in isolation ,only having interaction when a tribe was attacked by a stronger tribe for access to newer grazing lands or to take slaves.Yes Folks,slavery existed in Africa long before the white man was heard of much less seen.There were no advances in technology,not even the wheel.There were no medical break throughs,no there were no x ray machines or cat scans or antibiotics. There were no large multistory cities creating employment for thousands of people. Now consider this. Since independance from white rule,How many countries have maintained the some level of technology in all fields,How many countries have maintained a free equitable and just society? All excluding Botswana have for a multitude of reasons slid into anarchy,starvation,poverty,crime and corruption, This despite the former colonial powers pumping billions of dollars in foreign aid into Africa. How is it that prior to independance these so called colonies could be viable and enrich their colonial masters,yet after independance they al become hellholes of suffering causing a mass exodus of the same people that decried colonialism into the home countries of their former masters and even there they do not become succesful but leach on society through the welfare system. Look at America,the land of opportunity,still they want welfare while they enjoy the comforts of a technologicaly advanced society and contribute nothing. As soon as the advanced structure is disabled they sink back into a tribal mentality where they would rather see the sangoma that tells them they have a snake in the belly than see a white doctor. And they claim they can do better,well the track record shows that they have not. They owe us,we do not owe them!
