This is something that was given to me a while back and I think its time to share it. Too many times we use our strength, our resources, but on occasions none of those things work. And its usually till then that we want to seek Gods help as a last resort. The introduction to this message is this; lifting our hands up is a sign of humility. A sign telling God that we dont have anything else to give and we need his help. I hope this message is of a blessing to your life like it has been to mine. Lifting your hands up is a sign up humility. A sign of you are leaving up to The Lord. That you came to realize that it is not going to be with your strength but with his. Its usually when you feel weak and as your last resort. But thats you leaving it up to God to do it bcuz you are being humble. But lifting your hands up also has a second meaning. Anytime someone wins, their hands go up instinctively. See when you lift your hands up its also a sign of victory. Next time the devil tells you...you have lost, youre defeated, you have nothing, your money didnt work, your strength didnt do anything, your family couldnt help you and you can barely lift your hands up...you are defeated. You tell him...the battle has just been won. ...despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NLT)
