The Subject is Orthopaedic Health and the programme is as follows: 10:00 Welcome and Coffee 10:30 - 11:15 Hip Dysplasia – Matthew Pead BVetMed PhD MRCVS FHEA CertSAO Senior Lecturer and Director of Clinical Skills Centre at the Royal Veterinary College. He has been active in research into the physiology of bone and the mechanism of bone disease in both humans and animals. 11:15 - 11:30 Coffee 11:30 - 12:30 Elbow Dysplasia – Matthew Pead 12:30 - 1:30 Lunch 1:30 - 2:15 Cruciate Ligament Injury – Ian MacQueen BVetMed CertSAO MRCVS, Senior partner at MacQueens Veterinary Centre specialising in orthopaedic surgery. 2:15 - 2:30 Coffee break 2:30 - 3:30 Raising a Large Breed Puppy – Wendy Adams RVN Guide Dogs National Dog Health Screening Co-ordinator This event is open to all. Places will be available on a pre-booked first come first served basis at a cost of £15 per person, to include refreshments and buffet lunch.
