This is the letter the Aphasia Team sent to Senator James Beach Senator James Beach 1309 Route 70 West Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 Dear Senator Beach, We would like to introduce ourselves and to make you aware that May is Better Speech and Hearing Month as well as National Stroke Awareness Month. The “Aphasia Team” is a group of stroke survivors that attend Independence Rehab, Cherry Hill, NJ for comprehensive stroke rehabilitation. There are plenty of other stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury survivors that receive therapy at Independence Rehab. We wanted to make you aware that we are here in your community. Please feel free to visit and see how hard we work to recover. We hope to provide stroke education to anyone who will listen!
