This is the only time of year I really miss the Lemmingtrail board because Chris Hallock would post his FALL IS FOR HORROR MOVIES thread and there would be 500+ posts about everyones favorite movies. So I thought wed start one here since Brian Sullivan and others are looking for recommendations. Feel free to add. Up first: THE BATTERY. This is my favorite film of the past five years. Jeremy Gardner wrote/directed and starred as one of two everyday joes wandering around the backwoods and suburbs after a zombie breakout. The zombies are completely besides the point here. It all about the forced camaraderie between the companions. One wants to keep moving, and would be the first to admit he loves this brave new world where anything goes. The other is desperate for ANY anchor to the way things used to be. I was sucked in from the opening moments when one of them gets super excited to find a winning scratch ticket...in a world where theres no more lottery. https://youtube/watch?v=TO3_WO2YfGo
