This is the thread of life... The memorialization of a life - TopicsExpress

This is the thread of life... The memorialization of a life etched in your mind. This is the point where time stands still. The end of that life sits in your heart like a tumbled stone: distinctly heavy. You carry it around cradling all that was and all that wasnt. And you sit with that for days, months, years. You try to make sense of a turn of events that ended it all. And how could you? For that you’d need the bird’s eye view. You’d need to know the mission of that soul because no mission goes unfilled. Not yours, not mine, not theirs. The only guarantee you have is that every soul living a human experience has a mission, and upon exit, whenever that time may be, the mission is fulfilled. Did the life you carry heavy in your heart come here to teach you love or forgivness? Those are the only two things you are here to learn. You’re not here to carry a stone in your heart or, heaven forbid, to turn your heart into a stone. You’re here to be love, incarnate. Every life tangled in your web of life is here to test your ability to let love flow. Can you imagine? The intention of life, all life, is to lift the soul. That’s what love does: it lifts your soul and every soul you come in contact with. How can you elevate your own soulful experience? You can choose to let love flow through your heart long, fast and furious enough to whittle that tumbled stone into nothing so it no longer sits heavy but instead flows freely. So that you can flip the human experience of that soul into the love it came here to weave. No soul arrives with the hope to sit heavy in someone’s heart. Every soul arrives with the intention to continue to allow the flow of love to be the unstoppable force that it is. The moment that flow appears to stop (in fact, it never does) you build a barrier made of anger, hate, resentment, entitltement...the list can continue forever. This barrier makes you believe you are righting a wrong, but you’re not. You’re wronging the right to let love lift you beyond the pain of the experience of losing someone who, for you, made you feel this incredible connection to love. What you don’t realize is that he flow of love doesn’t end with the human experience. If you picture that flow as a single thread belonging only to that person then you forget that the person belongs to a soul. The soul is a part of an interconnected web of souls, forever bound by the sanctity of the Divine. As such, the soul never dies. It only moves forward. Which means the thread never ends. The thread continues through every life it ever touched, and even those it touched only by association. Soul to soul to soul to soul. Theirs to yours. Yours to mine. Mine to hers. Hers to his. His to his. His to hers. Hers to hers. Hers to yours. Yours to theirs... The only thing it matters is that you let the thread continue to flow through you. Because the thread is love. The thread is love. traceyselingo/fieldnotes/2014/the-thread-of-life
