This is the time of year when we all start thinking about being Thankful. Really it is something we should do all the time though. Every night when I go to bed I think about my day... my family, friends, job, home & health. I really am very fortunate! I also think about those who are less fortunate & try to think of what I can do to help someone else. This Saturday is the FFMC Toys for Tots Toy Run. We meet at Tiffany Plaza with a new unwrapped gift costing only $10. We will roll out of there, bikes & vehicles, with a police escort at 11am to take all of the toys to the Childrens Shelter. My grandkiddos will be going with me because it is a wonderful time to teach kids the importance of giving. Now, besides that effort the FFMC also wants to help other kids in need. They have a box set up in the Mountain View parking lot where you can drop off a toy. These toys will be given right here in our Community. They are also taking gently used toys this year. So when you are cleaning out your childs toys to make room for new ones please keep this in mind. Another child would love to have that toy that your child no longer wants. You can also drop off a toy at the Clubhouse (249 P SE) on Friday & Saturday nights. If you do not have transportation but would like to donate please let somone know. Monetary donations will also be accepted. Please Share!!
