This is to all the stay at home mums out there . I , having 3 sisters 2 step daughters and Denise , think i understand women a tad more than some men , but when it comes to bringing up newborn children im guessing how hard it is , that is until this week when for the first time i am the one at home looking after our new puppy . Ok puppies are not children but you can stick a child in a nappy ( dog nappies , must write that down ) also in the end , you speak the same language . What i am saying to all you blokes who come home and say , oh you didnt do the washing up or ( worse ) so are we getting takeaway then or you havent vacumed again ! , guys , your wife /partner whatever , has got around half hour between naps , sometimes an hour before you cannot be more than ten feet away , it took me 2 hours to get dressed , another 30mins to brush my teeth , dinner looks like a double pack of bourbons ( mmmm) and i will be pleased when den gets home so i can get out of the house ( even in this downpour ) to walk maxy. I bow down to you stay at home mums and respect you even more for the job ( because thats what it is , full time no pay ) you are doing , or have done in your life time . Please let me go back to digging foundations , by hand , in clay , in the rain , i will not complain honest . A stay at home puppy daddy :-)
