This is what I call the scorched earth policy. Some are so determined to have sound doctrine ( which is a good thing, sound doctrine) that they go on a personal vendetta to tear everyone elses ministry down that doesnt agree with them (a bad thing). I always think of what Jesus said about the wheat and the tares. He said let them grow together so that the wheat isnt up rooted while pulling up the tares, good advice. At the same time, its ok to point out doctrinal error, but it must be done in love. The religious person will go off on a tangent and personal crusade and set up inquisitions. I urge caution and balance to the ministry that goes after other ministries. Some ministries that teach wrong, just need to be taught right.
