This is what happens when historical scholars allow politicians to move nations to new regions, out of political expedience. Any number of historical accounts, from like...yaknow...BOOKS, and other antiquated things, like scrolls and parchments, and such (including the revered writings of Greek and Roman scholars, which far too many in the west count as the only reliable sources of data about the ancient world) make it clear (as do things like...yaknow...maps) that Egypt is an African nation, and not Middle Eastern, though its now counted as such, and that Egyptians were at one time known for how dark their skin was, which was remarked about even in texts found in Ancient libraries in what was Kush (Ethiopia), another nation and peoples formerly revered by the Romans and Greeks, and like Egypt, where the children of the elite were sent to study. Anyway, somehow this guy is a billionaire and provides far too many people their primary news source, and Im a guy on the internet with an IQ that can run laps around his, but Im always broke.
