This is why we have a right to bear arms. A little event the government and media swept under the rug. My understanding is that an even larger and more intense one happened in Arizona a couple years back over the feds trying to open our borders to the Mexican drug cartels. Notice that there were armed people ready for a fight on both sides. But; just like common criminals, when outmatched, all the government bullies need is someone to stick a gun in their face and theyll back down without any bloodshed. I believe this is why the 2nd amendment (right to keep and bear arms) gets under appreciated. Its main role in our society is keeping violence and abuse from happening with just its presence. Only when in most dire need or when its lost entirely do things truly get ugly. In this case, peoples rights and property were preserved by armed citizens standing up to the feds.
