This last week I went to see about a scratch on my eyelid. The doctor told me to just get some over the counter hydrocortisone ointment, which I did. (And it’s working nicely) That was it. He didn’t even say goodby. I had to ask him as he was walking out the door if we were through. He said yes and kept going. Well, Jim went to pick up a prescription renewal for me and, lo and behold, there were two prescriptions there. The extra was a tube of something. Say what? It’s something called triamcinolone and has so many no-nos on it I think I’ll stick to the OTC ointment for now. He gave us no idea he was issuing a prescription. This guy is weird! It’s a couple of hours since I first started this. I’ve had no nausea so far but dinner simply didn’t feel great after I ate both last night and again tonight. You know that feeling of “I wish I hadn’t eaten that” sort of thing? Which is why I’m about to close this up for now and go to bed really early. I already fell asleep on the couch with the TV on. I’ve also been totally out of energy all day. I’m alright, just uncomfortable and tired. The gangplank is up. It must be time to untie the barge from the quay and start our trip. My Nubian guard is taking care of all that needs to be done. I think tonight I’ll just lay back on my chaise and pass on anything to eat or drink. I’ll take a quick nap instead. An angel sent me a pop-up card today and boy did it ever pop-up when it popped open! Thank you All for the love and smiles
