This little beauty feeds on poison sumac, a plant that brings county crews out with herbicide sprays. In some places it may feed on poison ivy but not here. I raised them for 3 summers until an invasive code enforcer jumped my ass in Stewarts screaming hed send in town crews and add it to my taxes to remove the poison sumac, which was confined to a 6x10 foot patch. carolinanature/moths/moth1230583.jpg.
