This little painting was in my garbage pile at one time. Now that I look back, I wonder why I did that. Perhaps I thought it was too simple or the light wasnt interesting enough. A woman came to my studio and asked if she could buy it. I gave it to her for practically nothing. She later told me she was offered 15,000 dollars for the small painting. It taught me that I need to see the value and beauty in the simple things in life. Some paintings beat the drums loudly while others are like a whisper.
