This may trouble and shock some, but I have to say it anyway after a discussion with a friend...of course on politics...what else? I was told, by some, that they were tired of right wing crap and misinformation. Me: Crap is not a respecter of political parties...plenty to find on both sides. Our job is to distinguish opinion crap from fact, but is this even possible? I have found that the so-called fact checkers are many times biased and agenda driven. So who and what can we believe? Reading all sides does not solve this problem because it is still filtered through our prism of unique personalities, ability to discern and retain information, opinions and agenda, life experiences, mental state...basically too many variants that can affect the outcome of our understanding of fact. Everyone seems to know, but do they really? The facts will always be the facts as truth is always the truth in its sterile sense. Truth IS that the media tampers and spins the facts and are therefore, not trustworthy sources including Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
