Two weeks ago, a caterpillar showed up on the inside of our front door, probably having fallen from some parsley we brought in from the garden. As it was clear she was getting ready to create a chrysalis, Siobhan moved her to a plant on the porch and within a couple of hours she had spun silk and attached to a stick. In that time we have watched many a wondrous moment in this transformational journey. This morning this is who greeted us (we know its a female because of the pattern on top of her wings) ...
