This morning I added ginger to my morning wake up :-) For many years, I have added ginger to hot water with lemon as a tea and used it in every dish I cook. I have known for a long time that it is very good for the stomach and helps with nausea, but today I found this information: health.howstuffworks/wellness/natural-medicine/alternative/medical-uses-for-ginger-ga.htm Very good stuff...To make this for yourself, I recommend using purified water. I have a water distiller & purifier with a carbon filter. It is the most delicious water ever! ;-) Cut a whole cucumber into slices (slice thinly) Slice one lemon (again thinly) Grate ginger to taste (I like ginger so I dont mind a hit of spice) Let your jug sit in the fridge and each time you go for a glass - just pour from your mixture. Its the first glass I have in the morning and the last I have before bed. 3 times a day is recommended. I just drink it during the day and find it maintains a flat tummy for me and controls bloating :-) Lemons contain vitamin C and so boost the immune system, vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and is great for people with a lowered or impaired immune system. Cucumbers contain Potassium, zinc, phosphorous, magnesium, vitamin C and the B group vitamins which are great for fatigue and stress as they help to maintain a healthy nervous system Ive got my jug for today!
