This morning I learned that Timothy Nemec Sr. has passed. Tim was the kind of man worth emulating. Affable, supportive and responsible, he always put his family first. I will miss him more then I can really put into words right now. I know Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be the same without his warm and generous presence. 2014 has been very tough on my fathers extended Souderton School District family. First, Frank Daiuto the long time principle of Indian Crest and now Tim, the husband of teacher Elaine Nemec. Vacationing every year in Bethany Beach, our families became like one big family. Frank was also a remarkable family man. Incredibly generous with his time in his community, he was gregarious character at dinner or a party, and also perfectly comfortable sitting quietly on the beach lost in a good book. Their passings were not unexpected, both had fought hard battles to enjoy the precious time they had left with their families. I held my Avery this morning I hoped could impart the lessons that they imparted to me. With Tim, Frank and and my father I have some amazing role models to follow.
