This morning I walked over to Causeway Bay to see what was going on. The street is barricaded and peaceful groups of protesters are congregating. They have free provisions. Water, medicine, food, masks, small towels, umbrellas, and the patches kids wear on their forehead for fevers. (To stay cool.) Posters are being made. Motivational announcements are being made over megaphones. The MTR is running but several exits are closed. There are leaders and followers. I get the feeling the protest will not be over soon.
