This morning I was informed that the sheriffs office had been at my door ... It appears that my ex-husband (Chris Simon) has been prodded to get a harassment order against me to stop me from telling the truth about what has happened over the last 18 months of our relationship and what WCCO 830 and CBS has done to encourage and enable his poor choices and criminal behavior over the last 18 months. Clearly, the truth hurts -- In my humble opinion, the only thing that should hurt is that a 5-year old was repeatedly subjected to crime scenes and other inappropriate subjects, over and over and over again ... Something that no five year old should see. Much less a 5-year old with autism. And something that no parent should have to deal with, in terms of nursing their child through the psychological consequences and scars. Since I have not been served yet, I do not know what exactly is in the order or what it tells me that I can or cannot do. I am assuming that one of the things that it will ask for is me to shut down this site, Ending the Silence ... despite the fact that nothing, but the truth has ever been posted here! In fact, if anything, I have been tame -- toning down the airing of some of the filthiest of dirty laundry. Although this order is in Chris Simons name, I am ASSUMING that it is at the impetus of WCCO 830 -- so they no longer have to be subjected to these truthful postings that expose their despicably inappropriate behavior over the last 18 months. It would not be the first or the last time that Mr. Simon has been used by other people, including WCCO and CBS. Mr. Simon probably does not realize this because he has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer. But, when WCCO is done using him as a mule/pawn in this situation to do their bidding, they will throw him away like a dirty pair of socks ... Thus, I am asking all of the truly good neighbors of Minnesota and around the world to continue to share these posts and these concerns even if this page is shut down ... I have learned long ago that you can silence one person, but you cannot silence an entire village! And ultimately, the truth cannot be silenced! The truth can and will win out! So, again, share the words, share the message and continue to call and tell WCCO 830 News Radio that you are disappointed in their failure to step up to the plate and do the right things to protect a young, innocent 5-year old. And also their failure to take domestic violence seriously. Remember their number is (612) 333-9181. ** Also, I would add that although I am one of the least litigious people in the world, I now no longer see any option other than pursuing this situation against WCCO and CBS in a court of law. If a company knew that an employee had a history of drunk driving and they gave him the keys to the car, then the company would be held liable for what the employee did. Here, the company gave a known abuser not only the keys to the car, but a company phone and email and all the tools needed to harass me and repeatedly violate an Order for Protection and to be charged and convicted for violating said Order. And then, they proceeded to give that same person known for poor driving and poor parenting the keys to their corporate vehicle and let him engage in behaviors that they were bound to know would happen! To me that is CRYSTAL CLEAR liability and I would be happy to discuss it with any lawyers here in the Twin Cities area who clearly care about these issues and the rights and well-being of abused women and children.
