This morning I work up a little early for work, as I left I noticed a young man running for the bus on University ... As I pulled away I noticed he had missed the bus and offered him a ride in the direction of downtown as I was already in that direction ... He explained to me the bus was early and he would have to wait for the next one, I explained how I had to ride the bus for 5 years and understood his situation ... Upon dropping him off at the DART station he mentioned how he never expected anyone to do what I did in his whole life ... weather it was because I shared an empty seat, the neighborhood I picked him up is was east Drake and our skin color was different, or just our social classes were very obviously separated ... It was enough to let me know people out there less fortunate are sometimes so just because the simply missed a bus and the exercise of brotherly kindness and mindfulness of those below oneself on Jacobs Ladder can make all the difference in the world ... Be wonderful today and do something extraordinary, be mindful, practice compassion ... Be part of Humanity ♡
