This morning Marc and Susan Jaffee, of Snowdance Farm, lead a fun and educational farm tour for the 8th grade class at Robert J. Kaiser (RJK) Middle School in Monticello, NY. These students are currently reading Michael Pollans Omnivores Dilemma and learning the differences between industrial and small-scale farming productions. The Jaffees raise pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, and of course their 3 pet dogs.
