This morning, a small male chihuahua approached me while I was closing my gate. The poor little guy was whimpering and shivering. He happily followed me when I invited him inside my home. After knocking on a few houses and making some phone calls, I couldnt find him a home. Thinking my new friend had a better chance of being adopted and being told that the Anti Cruelty Society doesnt euthanize dogs, I drove him downtown. Turns out that The Anti Cruelty Society would only hold him for a day and then place him at Animal Care and Control anyway (which was where I did not want to take him). Thinking that he would probably not survive on the streets, I decided it was best to take him here. I wish I could keep him, but I already live with three dogs, and after what happened to Zofi Ive had to dedicate so much more time to her. If my friend doesnt get adopted, he will be put down. Hes a great co-pilot and enjoys car rides. He also likes to be held and wrapped in warm blankets. He is now at 2741 S Western Ave. His ID number is A122065.
