This morning as we were headed out for our 5:30 AM walk in the dark, one of our diabetics was waiting for us at the gate. Our cleaning lady was with her. She was ill. Her name is Daphney and she is the first insulin dependent diabetic we had 6 years ago at our clinic here. We now have well over 50. Daphneys sugar was unusually low this morning after an insulin adjustment. After a few nervous moments not being able to get an IV in, things went fine and she is ready to go home now. Daphney has no family and no job. She receives 2 bottles of insulin a month that cost HHM $50 and without it will die. Please consider supporting diabetics in Haiti who would die if HHM were not able to give them free insulin. Thank you in Jesus name.
