This morning didnt end up as planned for the most part. I found myself over off Aldine Westfield on the other side of 59 in a different area that we venture into. What I found was really pathetic I ended up talking to residents of one neighborhood and handing out many business cards because nobody over there knows where to get vaccinations and spays at a reasonable rate. I told them that they could go to a local feed store and get the vaccinations and do it themselves for $7 a shot but many are frightened to give the dogs a shot because they dont want to hurt them or get bit so I was telling people how they could do it. Also told them for rabies go to Harris County on Canino. The only way to help end this neglect and educate is to get out there and speak to them. They are eager to learn our ways just dont know who to turn to. Hoping that someday we can make handouts and maybe have a group of vet techs gather together in a pk lot and do $7.00 vaccinations. A dream has to begin somewhere
