This morning on the Citi Breakfast Show the deputy minister of information said that the government has shown a lot of political will to investigate alleged corruption at GYEEDA. This is for me the most unfortunate insult to my intelligence as a Ghanaian. Mister Minister, please tell me what happened to the POLITICAL ZEAL AND WILL to avoid the corruption in the first place? How about the POLITICAL ZEAL AND WILL to hire competent people with the right motivation and experience to do the job they are recruited to do? How about the POLITICAL ZEAL AND WILL to follow laid down guidelines and procedures when setting a tendering process and awarding contracts? I am further amazed that you were bold to say that the initial "team" commended GYEEDA as a good program. On this last point I may be wrong after all is said and done I am not called Honorable or Excellency. Come again Mister Minister or Honorable Minister!
